The deeper reasons to join...

The hardest thing about writing isn’t the proverbial blank page, intimidating as all that white space can be. In fact, the hardest thing about writing is making the time to write and then honoring the time you’ve made by sticking it out – planted in your chair and focused, resisting the distractions of phone and email.  And then doing it again, and again, week after week.

Writing can feel awkward, it can feel lonely; it can even feel pointless. Struggling on your own, you can start to believe you will never get to the end of a project.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Community Writing at The Hub provides accountability, companionship, guidance for improvement and the inspiration to make writing a habit, with all the benefits of momentum and progress.

Because writing regularly will make you a better, more productive writer.

So what is community writing? Every Wednesday and Thursday morning (you can attend either or both), we log on (at 8am MST, 10am EST, 4pm CET & SAST) , check in, set goals and write for 75 minutes, finishing with problem-solving a specific challenge, sharing particular triumphs, or just enjoying each other’s words and progress.

With a Hub membership, Community Writing - and the community of writers - become part of your life.
